What is hwdPhotoShare?
hwdPhotoShare is new software is still in a developmental stage. It is not yet classified as stable.
hwdPhotoShare is an open source software application that is written in the PHP programming language. It is an online web application that can be executed & viewed through a web-browser and gives extra image and photo support and functionality to websites. It has been designed specifically for the Joomla! CMS. Joomla is a free open source content management system for publishing content on the World Wide Web and intranets.
The functionality of Joomla can be extended by installing third party extensions. Joomla offers over 3500 extensions that are designed & developed by third party programmers. Generally these developers have no direct affiliation to Joomla. hwdPhotoShare is a native third party extension for Joomla.
hwdPhotoShare can not be used without Joomla, it is not a stand alone application.
What can it do for you?
hwdPhotoShare is a photo gallery for Joomla that allows you to display organised image media that can be shared between users on the Internet. hwdPhotoShare can handle the automatic image resizing and thumbnail generation of major image formats.
Who should use hwdPhotoShare?
Webmasters who manage Joomla websites can use hwdPhotoShare on their Joomla websites. hwdPhotoShare should be used to create an online community of users who share a large number of photos between themselves.

Understanding Highwood Design
Highwood Design is the design company that develops and maintains the hwdMediaShare project. It is a small design company that has released hwdPhotoShare for the benefit of the Joomla community. We have released the software under the General Public License and charge a small yearly fee for subscription to our website. The subscription gives unrestricted access to updates and new releases. We charge a subscription fee to fund continued development. We do not claim that hwdPhotoShare is bug free, if you need a completely stable photo gallery solution for your website we recommend you find an alternative solution.
We are very friendly and will gladly help people who understand what our project is trying to achieve. However, if you believe that paying £10.99 a year entitles you to demand support in an non-friendly manner please do not subscribe to this project - because you will not receive it.
