System Maintenance

System maintenance is very important. It helps remove unnecessary video files and keeps hwdVideoShare running efficiently.

There are 4 main sections or tasks of system maintenance:

  1. Permanently Deleting Video Files
  2. Fixing SQL Database Errors
  3. Recounting SQL Database Statistics
  4. Archiving Access Logs

Manually Running hwdVideoShare System Maintenance

  • Log into the Joomla Administrator and go to the hwdVideoShare system maintenance menu.

  • Select Run or Don't Run for each maintenance section. Then click on the Run Tools button.
