hwdRevenueManager enables you to easily insert text and image adverts in fixed positions throughout the hwdVideoShare and hwdPhotoShare software.

The advert positions

There are 5 fixed positions in hwdVideoShare where you can insert adverts. The positions of the fixed slots vary depending which template plugin you are using. However, the positions for the dark template are highlighted in the image below.

How to display adverts

In order to display content in these 5 fixed positions you must first install the hwdRevenueManager positions and then go to the hwdVideoShare Ads page in the hwdRevenueManager administrator. You can enable each advert position separately and choose to display a Google Adsense advert, a Joomla module position or a custom advert.

Google AdSense
To display Google AdSense adverts you need a Google AdSense Account and your Publisher ID which is displayed in the AdSense homepage.

Joomla Module Position
You can choose to insert a Joomla module position into the hwdRevenueManager positions. This gives you a great deal of flexibility and power in delivering integrated content in hwdMediaShare. To publish a Joomla module position, just select (or type) the position you want to display into the box.

Custom Advert
Custom Advert code can be any HTML code which generates an advert display. If you use an advertising network such as Adbrite or openX then your network will give you the code which you need to insert.
