The Nightly Builds

The Nightly Builds are exactly the same as the Official Releases, except that they are automatically created and published every day. This makes the Nightly Builds great for accessing the very latest code, bugfixes and features however, it also means they can be unstable. The Nightly Builds may or may not work, they are snapshots of the software and are created automatically. We don't check that Nightly Builds will install or work properly. Therefore, don't bother downloading nightly builds if you're unwilling to put up with problems. Official versions of hwdMediaShare are published every few weeks and these versions are tested before release to ensure they install correctly.

Why should I use the Nightly Builds?
The main benefit is that the Nightly Builds give you access to code before we officially release it. If you have discovered a bug in our source code, and our developers have reported that the bug has been fixed, the Nightly Builds will include the bugfix for this problem.
Why should I NOT use the Nightly Builds
The Nightly Builds may or may not work. We make nightly builds for testing only. We write code and post the results right away so people like you can join our testing process and report bugs. You will find bugs, and lots of them. It might delete all your files and cause your computer to burst into flames. Don't bother downloading nightly builds if you're unwilling to put up with problems.

How do I use the Nightly Builds?
Use the Nightly Builds just like a normal release of hwdMediaShare.
